Educational activities at La Fiorida
The educational activities of the La Fiorida farm got its recognition through accreditation to the circuit of the Educational Farms of the Lombardy Region .
The Educational Farm is a productive activity that combines traditional teaching with workshops , according to the commitments dictated by the Charter of quality requirements .
This document covers requirements relating to the characteristics of the company , training of the operators, preparatory work for schools , housing and security of all areas involved.
The farm becomes a ” great outdoor laboratory ” where it is possible to combine theory with practice.
The goal is to transmit information related to agriculture, animal life, crafts and techniques used for the production of food, while teaching how to respect the environment in a true natural setting.
Different classes are organized to make sure all age groups are actively included.
