An exciting summer camp for children in the mountains
Valgerola Outdoor Experience is the summer campus in Val Gerola aimed at children and young people who want to discover the more adventurous and wild side of the mountains, in direct contact with the nature of the Alps.
Within Valtellina’s Orobic area, which is rich in crags and rock faces, experienced local mountain guides take young children through various playful activities and sports in nature, such as climbing and bouldering. Young aspiring climbers will then be able to try their hand at first climbs and other adventures in the woods.
The Valgerola Outoor Experience program includes:
- First approach and rock games for children;
- Crossing of the Bitto stream with a cableway from boulder to boulder;
- Crag climbing, suitable for all ages;
- hiking in Stone Valley, the valley that leads to the beautiful alpine lakes.
