Rich in interesting cultural influences, our territory boasts a lot of historical buildings, palaces, medievalvillages and museums to visit. For instance, you can find Fort of Montecchio and Fort of Fuentes in Colico (15 minutes drive): these represent two of the best preserved fortresses in Europe and date back to the WWI. Both can be visited at almost any time of the year. The net of the Eco-museums can be found in Valgerola: among those to be mentioned we point out the Museum of Homo Salvadego (in Sacco), the Ethnographic Museum (in Rasura), the House of Time (in Gerola) and the Vanseraf Museum in Dosso. All these can be easily reached in 30 minutes.
